We moderate your content reactively. There are 'Alert a Moderator' buttons alongside user-generated content throughout the Online Centre. Please click on these to let us know if you think any content breaks site rules. This will remove it from the site until we have assessed it against the site content rules and regulations.
We will not routinely look at any of your conversations or your profile but we may need to check it every now and then to make sure it doesn't break site rules. We will not look at your personal messages unless we are asked to by a member you have sent a message to.
Maggie's Online Centre aims to give advice and support to anyone affected by cancer. We ask you to abide by the following site rules and regulations and be considerate of other members at all times and with any content you put on the site.
The message boards, your personal messages and content in your profiles will be moderated by sample and reactive moderation - this means your posts, messages and content will go live instantly so please think before you post. Maggie's moderators will remove any content that is deemed unacceptable.
If you find any content offensive or believe it breaks these house rules use the Alert A Moderator button to report the post to the moderator or contact the web manager if there is no button available. If you persistently break these rules we reserve the right to pre-moderate your posts or remove your profile from this website.
