About Maggie's Online Centre

Welcome to Maggie's Online Centre - a place for everyone affected by cancer to get advice, support and information.

There are conversations, blogs and specialist groups available for you to browse. You can meet people in a similar situation and, if you register, you can create your own profile and take part in live online support groups.

Familiarise yourself

We recommend you spend some time looking around the Online Centre. You can browse the conversations and blogs and read about other member's experience of cancer.

Conversations are organised by topic. Scroll through the topics and, if you find something that interests you, have a read. Alternatively, have a look through the most current conversations to see what is being discussed right now.

Go to blogs, which are online diaries, and read about other people's experiences. You will find blogs written by community members, and some by our staff, charting their own experiences about their diagnosis or their caring responsibilities depending on how cancer affects their lives.

We also have a groups section. There are different types of groups in the Online Centre: live online support groups (real time live sessions and support groups led by members of our Online Team). Booked sessions where you can book a private conversation with a member of the online team for example our benefits advisor, nutritional advisor or a cancer support specialist nurse.

Finally, we recommend reading the Online Centre guidelines to familiarise yourself with our house rules.
