Over the weekend, and totally out of the blue, I bumped into an old friend who I worked with many years ago, and who I hadn't seen for over 16 years. What a wonderful experience to be transported back to golden days of rewarding work and true friendships. I know we are encouraged to live in the moment; not to dwell too much in the past, and not to project about what the future might hold. I believe all of that, but there is something deep inside of us which draws us back to a reminiscence of the people and life events which have fulfilled and shaped us. Today I am living with that nostalgic dimension in my life.

Great to hear you Jim, just back from a trip, so am enjoyimg everyones tales and thoughts. These have sparked a few of my own. One being ; how many of our memories have helped mould us and how important they can be for us to draw on during moments of crisis.

As the doors open wider with time allowing us to see the bigger picture, it is often revealing when we see the sacrifices of those in our past, that add to the nostalgia of our memories  today.
