UC and help with health costs
Edited on 17 November 2017 at 11:07
Hello,
Universal Credit (UC) doesn't change any of the ways help with health costs works in the four home nations of the UK.
Health costs may well come up whether that be prescriptions in England only, or other - slihtly differing - charges for dental and optical charges etc across the UK.
So my latest Benefits Blog- available here - may be useful, particularly if you claim Universal Credit (UC), but also as a general reminder to all of of help that is available with these health cost.
The new bit is: Where does UC fits into the mix as a qualifying benefit for help with these health costs? And also some specific issues and problems with along the way.
To find out more, please feel free to take a look at that blog here
If you have any general queries, comments or experiences to share - around health costs in general or the how it works under UC - then please join this Conversation and post below.
But do also feel free to message me if you want a private word about these or any other benefit issues :-)
Best wishes,
Tom :-)
