After treatment

Started by Anonymous on 08 March 2018 at 12:44

Hi there, I finished chemo last August for Bcell lymphoma and have been in remission since. Once the effects of the chemo wore off I felt great and raring to go, but recently I feel so low and lacking in confidence and very teary. It's been a rotten 4 years with three close family bereavements and then my diagnosis and I wonder if feelings have been buried in order to 'cope'. Is this just a phase that will pass. Sx

Hello You have had a huge amount to deal with and it is understandable that your feelings have caught up with you. I can imagine it all feels overwhelming just now yes this phase that will pass but there are also lots of ways to help make things more manageable in the meantime . You are very welcome to visit any of our Centres , you don’t need an appointment you can just drop in . I’ll also message you privately so we can talk in more detail.
    Best wishes
