terrible night

Started by Anonymous on 30 January 2012 at 14:59

Despite having advanced gastric cancer, I haven't had any pain until last week. Ironically, last session of chemo was just over 3 weeks ago so abdominal discomfort wasn't expected after  going through the chemo. Uncomfortable for last few days but last night pain was terrible. How come pain during the night always seem worse? Is it because you're awake when everyone is asleep?

Of course , mind goes into overdrive. the chemo hasn't worked, the cancer has got worse, etc.

Reading some other comments, however, has put this into perspective as I see lots of peple are in a worse state then me.

It's still a horrible thing though.
