brain tumours and diet

hello

I am new to this site - I have a brain tumour - grade 2 glioma.

I am about to have second round of surgery - four weeks today followed by chemo - my first surgery was June 2010 and my tumour was 7 cm. I was diagnosed just in time - my gps told me I had postnatal depression! argh!! My question to you fellow bloggers if there is any evidence that diet can help with brain tumour growth - I have been told eating asparagus is good?!
