What's online this week

This week on the online centre we have two of our monthly networking groups:

Our  haematology networking group on Tuesday morning and our Brain tumour networking group (in partnership with Brain Tumour UK) on Wednesday afternoon

These are facilitated open discussions where members  text as a group (no cameras involved)  highlighting  shared issues and experiences. Membership of the group also allows access to the group message board where group members can keep in touch between sessions.

In addition to our networking groups we also run weekly facilitated support groups.  we currently have some places available in  our Friends and family group, Living with cancer group and Connections (our bereavement group) .  These groups also have their own messageboards which are only visible to members of the group.

If you are interested in join in any of these groups you need to  register for the online centre and also to sign up for the group in advance - You can find out more about the groups and how to sign up in the group section

Caroline our, online nutritional therapist  is on hand to assist with any questions you have about  food, weight, eating issues  as a result of illness or treatment she also writes a weekly blog in our Cancer and healthy eating group. Registered members of the online centre can post a comment on the group board or message Caroline directly

Many of you will also know  October is breast cancer awareness month.  With over 1,000 links  signposting to more than 200 organisations our information website Maggie’s Cancerlinks has lots of information on breast cancer  as well as  many other cancer types and topics.

Best wishes
