Singing in the lifeboats

After over three and a half years battling, I've just begun my - I think - fifth course of chemo; one tends to lose count after a while. I'm back on one I've had before, Irinotecanwhich I can just about manage. Was told if it doesn't work well enough I can have another added, Cetuximab. Having read and heard about the evils of Cetuximab I have serious doubts that I even want to try it. Do I trust in things as they are, pray, what?
