Changing Faces get together - Dec 7

Changing Faces is a charity who aim to transform public attitudes towards people with an unusual appearance. Their goal is 'face equality' and they promote fair treatment and equal opportunities for all, irrespective of how they look.

They have asked us to let you know of a 'get together' they are holding in London on Wednesday 7th December - here are further details:-

'Changing Faces is inviting people living with a condition, mark or scar affecting their appearance to join us for some seasonal treats, good company and conversation at our get together on Wednesday 7 December, 5pm-6.30pm at The Squire Centre in London.

Everyone is welcome at our central London office (including parents and family members) for a chance to meet other people affected by visible difference, and find out more about Changing Faces, in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. We will also be using the event to shape up our plans for a regular fortnightly Support Group in the new year.

We receive lots of requests from people wanting to know if we offer opportunities to meet others, and share experiences, in an informal and supportive group setting.

This event will be exactly this type of meet-up and we hope it will be the beginning of a regular group for people who want to give and get support around visible difference.

We’ll have mince pies, hot drinks and other festive snacks and we really look forward to your company. Come along, meet others and find out more.

Best wishes
