Update on last week, and a mini ran

Well the message seems to have got through, decided to see our Onc and take it from there:

Anyway, saw the new one, with a list;

What about restarting chemo, Yes, but we only have 2 left to try, so will be Carboplatin.

What about a scan? I'll book one

Den will need a line in, as veins are shot, Portacath booked for 5th May.

Need to see a wound care nurse, Pop in next Tuesday, first thing, I'll get it arranged..The BCN scuppered that one, said to see the district nurses, even when I said to the BCN that the Onc promised it.

Onc suggested upping Dens pain meds. She even wrote us out a GREEN prescription, as she said hosp pharmacy would be closed now. However, the chemist Beeeeed that one up, gave us the wrong meds, so have to see the GP on Monday. Good job I tend to over order.

So there we are then, getting there, nothing to moan at the Onc about, and quite pleased really.

Just the BCN and the chemist, I just can't believe that someone in his position can say. Have these meds, they are not the right ones, but they do the same job. NO they do not, big difference between immediate release and prolonged release which is what Den has. So after checking go back to see him, says yep they are wrong, you need to see your doc for a new script! Pigging Great.
