A Carer's Journey

Day 2

On Tuesday we got the results of a CT scan on my partner - probable stage 4 lung cancer with what looks like secondaries on the lower spine, a kidney and the other lung, and in lymph nodes (we only went to the GP with laryngitis !). Oh and a heart murmer too.

MRI scan today on the lumber region.

Next Tuesday we have an EBUS scheduled - I would love to hear others experiences of recovery after an EBUS. How wobbly did you feel and for how long after, what sort of discomfort and after effects did you experience?

What do you think is the best support that a carer can give to someone after an EBUS?
