16 August 2016

Lovely to be back work and doing normal things again, although it has become physically harder for me as the weeks have progressed.

Yesterday, as the day progressed I noticed I became very easily tired, my body is definitely weak now, just walking a relatively short distance, slow small steps, not brisk walking and my body feels physically exhausted, its like my muscles just cant handle it.

The weather has been lovely lately, bright and sunny, which makes being out and about so enjoyable. Other than that, my week 3 has started off well and is ticking along nicely, I am feeling in a pretty good place.

In my head I am counting down the days to my last cycle, whilst I am not looking forward to being filled once again with the horrible FEC toxics, knowing it will be my last few weeks of feeling rubbish for a while has definitely put a little spring in my step.

Yesterday, Yvonne was inspecting my head, sadly she thinks when my hair does grow back it is unlikely to be all white, she has spied an area of darker hair around the top of my head.

Funny really, when I had hair it never really interested me, it was just a case of wash and go, and the occasional trip to the hairdressers, that was pretty much it when it came to my hair care.

Since it has all fallen out, I have become obsessed with it, is it growing, what colour is it, will it be curly, how long will it be before I have a full head of hair again, its just all about the hair these days and its quite exciting waiting to see what happens when it does start to grow back.
