Where Iam now

Well i ended up in hospital the first time as i had really bad tummy ache and was being sick mid jan. This lead to a 10 day stay in hospital while they done tests and they thought I had chrons. So i was sent home with medication and a colonoscopy booked the following week wich was on a Monday. On that Thursday I got a call saying we need to see you and stop all medication come in on Monday. So I went in on the Monday to be told they found a tumour (they eventually told me it was quite large so i had a large area sewn back up)and that I was to come back the next day to get booked in for surgery on the wednesday(20th Feb) all very quick. Get let out on the 27th and was back in for a chat on the 5th of March to be told it is Bowel Cancer. Been to see the chemo doctor and the unit i will be going to to and had a great chat with them. Went to the Maggies centre on 18th of March and done my getting started course and iam busy reading that and filling in the pages. My chemo starts on the 1st of April and is IV and oral and a bit nervous about it. Read a great book called Cancer Vixen really recommed it. Been back at my cub scouts and watching ice hockey and generally living my life including talking about cancer on my facebook page which iam finding some folk can't handle but this is my life. Even talking about doing the race for life!
