Lost a sibling to cancer

Hello, I am new to Maggies online community. I am hoping to find the support I need and possibly speak to people in a similar situation to myself. I lost my brother last March to cancer. He was 16 years old and I miss him so very much. I have dealt with the loss in my own way but along the way have developed anxiety and depression. I suppress all my feelings since the day I lost him. I have very rarely managed to speak about it due to trying to block it out. Not because I don’t want to speak to about it... but because I find it hard to come to the reality that he has gone. It’s been hard on the whole family, but I just wish I could speak to someone that understood. It’s coming up to another Christmas and another anniversary since we lost him and I feel it’s time to find the correct support to help me. I am thinking of the bereavement group... Thank you Please reply x
