Maggie's Monster Conga

Maggie's Monster Conga takes place at George Square in Glasgow on Friday 30th January at 1pm to launch Maggie's largest annual fundraising event - the Monster Bike and Hike.

The Conga is designed to launch the event with maximum media coverage.

Please feel free to spread the word.

Maggie's Monster Conga, George Square, 1pm Friday 30th January

Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres will be officially launching their largest annual fundraising event - the Monster Bike and Hike, with a Monster Conga around George Square and you are invited to join in. Banish the January blues and have a laugh during your lunch hour, all for a good cause.

Maggie's Monster Conga is designed to generate as much publicity as possible for the Monster Bike and Hike - an event that has been running for 5-years and has raised a remarkable £2.5 million for Maggie's Centres.

The greater the publicity =  more people will know about the event =  more people that will sign up = vital funds for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres

Play your part by coming along to join in Maggie's Monster Conga at George Square on Friday 30th January.

The Scottish Rockettes will be there to cheer you on and you'll get a free Maggie's poncho to help create the Monster Conga. So come on, have a laugh and help Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.

The Monster Conga will start at 1pm so please arrive before then to join in.

Maggie's Monster Bike & Hike

The sixth annual Monster Bike and Hike for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres is the ultimate 24-hour team building challenge, with participants completing a 30-mile cycle and then choosing to hike 8 (bronze), 22 (silver) or 43-miles (gold). The event takes place on the bank holiday weekend of May 2nd and 3rd and takes in some of Scotland’s most awe inspiring scenery, starting under the shadow of Ben Nevis in Fort William, along the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Way offering views of Loch Ness en route to Inverness.
