Bag of Wind?

OK no doubt various of you have called me an old wind bag… well the truth is I’m actually proud owner of a bag of fluid in my boob!! If I didn’t have said bag of fluid I’d have even more of a dent than I have – the surgeon leaves a envelope type area to be filled by your body to prevent a dent and your body fills it prior to it eventually mutataing to be scar tissue – and that’s what my ultrasound revealed today. So good news there.

Not so good news was my idiocy at the weekend – my armpits need shaving think I – no problem, use lots of soap and it will be fine… Will it hell!! I now have a skinless armpit to go with my sore bits under my boob! Obviously your skin really does become thin like they warn you – and when they say thin they mean thin!! Woe is me!

But then we got home. The postie had been – usual bills et al thinks I, as David opens an envelope pauses a moment and then asks me if I’d entered any competitions? I’ve won a holiday to Morocco with Land Rover, involving on and off road driving sightseeing in the desert and full board in April! So we get back from India tiger hunting end of March, have 2 weeks at home then off to Morocco free and gratis, then home for 5 weeks and off to Turkey to celebrate 4 extra years of David. Good job I’m on sick leave and aren’t taking precious holidays!!       

And now I’m off to bed to let today’s news sink in!
