50 (as at Mar 09), married, no human children by choice but currently 5 feline ones and hoping to add more! Involved heavily with scottish motorsport, primarily speed events but touching a litlle up rallying thru my membership of Aberdeen and District Motor club. Have worked as a computer programmer / analyst for 25 years now and currently with Scottish Widows.
Long term sufferer from severe clinical depression and anziety - have to work at home as the office environment is not for me right now, and that was before the bombshell that hit me on 25 March - breast cancer.

I had a shower today ...
Now that may not sound exciting, but if you’ve ever been ‘deprived’ of being able to use smelly stuff in the shower and condemned to Simple (read very boring) soap like I have since starting radiotherapy before Christmas, to have your first shower when you can luxuriate in gallons of smelly shower gel, you’ll realise why I’m so excited!!
Add to that the delights of being able to deodorise both armpits – the left one has been out of bounds due initially to application of radiotherapy (it’s a banned substance while that is going on) and latterly to the fact I had no skin to apply it to, and you’ll realise why I’m in 7th Heaven!
AND I had to have my eyebrows waxed – I have eyebrows and they were big enough to require trimming – something that’s been missing since about August!! AND I had to have my moustache removed – it was so good to have one (no-one’s going to believe that I know!!)
